After the Super Bowl, "Mary, Martha, and Jesus at Dinner (in Matisse's Red Room) was completed. Balancing the red room and blue accents of Matisse with the Biblical dinner was challenging fun. Hope the viewers will enjoy it!
So, "The Women with Jesus" series has portrayed the Woman at the Well at Van Gogh's "Starry, Starry Night," the Madonna and Child into Warhol's "print" type cubes, the Woman Bent Over and the Synagogue Leaders in Munch's "The Scream," Mary and Elizabeth in Picasso's cubism, and The Bleeding Woman and the Widow and her Last Mite into Seurat's pointalism. Now, I will attempt to put Jesus at dinner at Mary and Martha's house into Matisse's "Red Room." Here we go!
